Camp Carolina

Nat went to Camp Carolina when he was younger.  He was so excited to learn about the father son weekend so he could introduce Nathaniel to this cool place.

They went with some good friends of ours Tom and Jake.

They went rock climbing, mountain biking, white water rafting and swimming. Nathaniel said his favorite was the mountain biking.

I was so jealous I couldn't go. I love me some adventure! Since I was not there these are the only pictures I got. I wanted every detail. I wish I would have thought to send a waterproof camera.

Nathaniel says he and Jake are going back next summer for a whole month. He talked my head off when he got home. No doubt he really liked it. Not so sure I could let him go longer than a week.

What an awesome place to go with your dad!

He is pretty cute in that hard hat.

You Gotta Love It When......

You gotta love it when your two year old screams bloody murder and kicks while going out of the mall. Everyone stared and looked a little puzzled like I might be kidnapping her. I can't imagine why...... she looks just like me. Who puts these darn rides in there anyways!!!!! Not going back with her anytime soon.

Missed my SS

Looking forward to seeing these faces in the morning!

We took a six week break but we did meet for dinner one night to catch up and celebrate Karen's birthday and Dwan's adoption milestones.

Dwan has a sweet boy, Caleb, waiting in China.

In one of the reports Dwan received from Caleb it said his favorite animal was a frog.

So we found a cute little frog and it visited each one of our homes. The frog was a sweet reminder to pray for Caleb and Dwan's family during the wait. She had a note to read from each one of us when she got home.

Caleb is one special little boy to have a mama like this waiting on him!

So tomorrow we start the book Crazy Love.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.
Psalm 19:1-4

God is

Holy

Eternal

All knowing

All powerful

Fair and just

Tie Game

Last Saturday morning I woke up praying for good sportsmanship.

We were playing the other Potter Gray team. Both teams are really good!

You see, all these boys go to school together and are really good friends.

They had been talking this game up for weeks.

I was a little concerned about how they would act with the end result.

It was so close ya'll! 3 to 3 tie game!

It could not have been more of a perfect ending in my opinion.

Everyone left with smiles! Way to go boys!

Just one pick of my girlie at the game! She is a trooper hanging out at games on Saturdays!

I am so jealous of her tan!
