New Well Baby Check and Picture!

We received this in an email this evening  just after five. She just opened the care package we sent her for Christmas. By the date, it looks like she got it on December 28th when she went to her doctors visit.  Her checkup was good! She has 2 teeth on top and bottom and she is pulling to a standing position.  She weighs 18.3 lbs and she is 27.8 inches. She is growing!
We are always excited to get new pictures. However, this wait is becoming unbearable. Today has been the hardest so far. Thank goodness for a new picture tonight to cheer us up a little. We are still waiting to hear about her immigration permit. (EP)  This mama is running out of patience. Please pray for our EP to come quickly!

  4. "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope" Psalm 130:5 There are no words to make your wait any easier...I can only lift you up in prayer...praying for your strength, courage, peace & most of all that the wait will be over & Ella will be forever in your arms where she belongs! So happy to see that sweet face tonight & hear that she is healthy & growing! I'm here if you need to talk (scream, yell, cry)! Love you!

  6. Thanks for all the sweet thoughts and encouragement! I know there are a lot of viewers on this blog that are not leaving comments. This blog will be a keepsake for Ella, in a book, for her adoption story. I would love to see more of you posting so Ella can look back at this one day and see how many people loved and prayed for her journey. All you need is a google account.

  7. I read your blog as well as many others, but rarely post/comment anywhere. I feel a special kinship with your journey, because in addition to having just brought home our son from Korea, we have an Ella (9 years old) as well! Hoping you get to your Ella soon:)
