So as of yesterday when someone asks me when Ella is coming home, I can say, "THIS MONTH!" It really feels good not to have to say next month or we don't know. The word is out that the second batch of EP's should expect a travel call at the end of the month. Yay! So keep your fingers crossed.
Nat was a little sneaky today. He called me at work to see if I had checked my email. Well, he already had checked it for me. He was so excited because he thought we had the visa physical but really it was just Ella's well baby check. He was so disappointed. It was really sweet how excited he was.
Ella's well visit was good. She is holding onto furniture and cruising. I hope she holds out on those first steps so we can see! She is 28 inches and 18.9 pounds. That puts her in the Korean 10th percentile. She is a little peanut!
We are very anxious about our trip. Every time I think of taking her from all she has ever known it makes my stomach feel like I am going down a fast elevator. Because we have fell in love with her through pictures over the past 5 months, it is hard to believe we will be complete strangers to her. I know I have asked a couple of times before but please keep her in your prayers.

ReplyDeleteI have started checking your blog almost daily to see the latest news. So happy that it will be soon. You have so many praying for Ella and your family. It will be hard for her to leave all she knows, but she will soon love her new family and feel the love of a BIG community of people who have followed her story and love her, too.

ReplyDeleteCindy, just wanted to tell you how thankful I am that you have given me a chance to be a part of Ella's life these past few months by posting all your emails and updates for us. I truly feel like I already know Ella because of these sweet posts, and pictures. I know that making a post, at times, may have been heartwrenching for you, but Ella will read this one day, and realize how much she is loved, by all of her family, half a world away. We talk about how lucky you are to have such a special little girl, but I think Ella is the lucky one, here, to be blessed with special parents like you and Nat:)!! My sweet Kellee asks all the time, "MiMi when will Ella's plane get here")?
